More Than a Certificate

An Assessment That Pays for Itself

Most fire risk assessors hand you a report and disappear. We treat the assessment as the start of the conversation โ€” because identifying a hazard is worthless unless you know exactly how to fix it, what it will cost, and in what order to act.

  • โœ“
Prioritised action plan โ€” every issue graded by risk level (intolerable, substantial, moderate, tolerable) so you know what needs fixing today and what can be planned into next year's budget.
  • โœ“
Cost-aware recommendations โ€” where there are two compliant routes, we tell you both, including the cheaper one. Compliance shouldn't cost more than it has to.
  • โœ“
Insurance-ready documentation โ€” reports written to satisfy insurers, fire authorities and mortgage lenders, reducing premiums disputes and claim risk.
  • โœ“
Free follow-up support โ€” questions after the report lands? Call us. We stay available while you implement the plan, at no extra charge.

Our Process

The Fire Risk Assessment Process โ€” Step by Step

Our assessments follow PAS 79-1/2 methodology and the five-step approach recognised by every UK Fire and Rescue Authority. Here is exactly what happens when you book with us.

01Enquiry

Free consultation โ€” within 2 hours

You call, email or WhatsApp us. We discuss your building type, size, use and occupancy, confirm exactly what's legally required for your situation, and give you a fixed, transparent quote. No site visit is needed for the quote and there's no obligation.

โšก We respond to every enquiry within 2 hours
02Pre-Survey

Document & history review

Before we arrive, we review your existing fire safety documentation โ€” previous assessments, alarm servicing records, fire door inspection logs, staff training records and any enforcement history. This means our time on site is spent inspecting, not paper-shuffling, and nothing gets missed.

03Site Visit

Full physical inspection

Our assessor walks every accessible area of the premises. We identify ignition sources, fuel sources and oxygen risks; evaluate who is at risk (staff, residents, visitors, and especially vulnerable persons); inspect escape routes, travel distances, fire doors, signage, emergency lighting, alarms, extinguishers and compartmentation; and assess management arrangements โ€” training, drills, maintenance regimes. For buildings with two or more dwellings we also cover the structure, external walls and flat entrance doors as required by the Fire Safety Act 2021.

๐Ÿ• Typically 1โ€“4 hours on site, depending on size
04Analysis

Risk evaluation & ratings

Every hazard we find is scored against likelihood and consequence to produce a clear risk rating. We don't bury you in jargon โ€” each finding is written in plain English with a photograph, its location, why it matters, and its priority level.

05Report

Written report & improvement plan โ€” within 48 hours

You receive a comprehensive, insurer-ready report including: an executive summary; a significant-findings register; a photographic schedule of defects; a prioritised action plan with recommended timescales; and our long-run improvement advice โ€” upgrade paths, budget guidance and quick wins that reduce risk immediately at low cost.

๐Ÿ“„ Delivered within 48 hours of the site visit
06Aftercare

Ongoing support & review reminders

We remain on hand while you implement the plan โ€” free phone and email support for any questions. We'll also remind you when your assessment is due for review (annually, or sooner if your building changes), so compliance never quietly lapses.

What You Receive

Inside Your Report

A fire risk assessment is only as good as the document you can act on. Ours are structured so a fire officer, an insurer or a builder can each pick it up and know exactly what to do.

๐Ÿ“‹

Executive Summary

A one-page overview of your building's overall risk level and the headline actions โ€” perfect for directors, insurers and lenders.

๐Ÿ”

Significant Findings Register

Every hazard identified, photographed, located and explained in plain English โ€” the legally required record of your assessment.

๐ŸŽฏ

Prioritised Action Plan

Issues ranked by urgency with recommended timescales โ€” what to fix this week, this quarter, and what to budget for next year.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Improvement Roadmap

Our long-run advice: alarm and lighting upgrade paths, fire door schedules, and low-cost quick wins that cut risk immediately.

๐Ÿงฏ

Management Recommendations

Training, drills, maintenance schedules and record-keeping โ€” the ongoing habits that keep the building safe between assessments.

๐Ÿ—“

Review Schedule

Clear guidance on when the assessment must be reviewed, plus the trigger events (refurbishment, change of use) that require it sooner.

Why It Matters

The cost of getting it wrong

Non-compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 carries unlimited fines and up to two years' imprisonment. Fire authorities can issue prohibition notices that close your premises overnight โ€” and most insurance policies are void without a current, suitable assessment.
